REMINGTON DOUBLE DERINGER TYPE II MODEL NO. 3 PISTOL.

SN 669. Cal. .41 RF. 3″ bbls, full nickel finish, 2-pc Mother-of-Pearl grips. 1-line Remington Arms Co. address appears on top of bbl. SN is stamped on inside of left grip frame and under bbl. British proof marks appear on right side of both bbls and on the right side of the frame at the breech. PROVENANCE: Bruce Burtner Collection. CONDITION: Very good. Bbls retain 90% thinning nickel finish with slight flaking at the muzzle and light scratching overall. All marks are sharp. Bores are bright with strong rifling. Receiver retains 85-90% nickel finish with some flaking on left side behind trigger and on the butt of the grip strap where there is a collectors inventory number written in white ink. Hammer, extractor, latch, screw, and trigger all retain a generous amount of blue finish. Mother-of-Pearl grips are intact with no cracks or chips. An opportunity to obtain a Remington Double Deringer that is rarely seen with British proof marks. 51641-18 TEP (1,000-1,500) – Lot 2206
