REMINGTON DOUBLE DERINGER TYPE II MODEL NO. 3 PISTOL.

SN 631. Cal. .41 RF. 3″ bbl, blue finish, 2-pc checkered hard rubber grips. Top of bbl shows 1-line Remington address. SN is stamped on the lower left inside of the grip frame and on the bottom of the bbl. PROVENANCE: Bruce Burtner Collection. CONDITION: Very good. Bbls retain 70% blue finish that has flaked mostly on the left side toward the muzzle all markings are sharp and clear. Bores are bright with strong rifling. Frame retains 20-30% bright blue that has worn to a smooth blue/gray patina on the backstrap. Recoil shields show high point wear and some light scratch marks. There are also some light scratch marks behind the trigger on the left side. Hammer, hinge screw, lever screw, lever and trigger all retain a generous amount of blue finish. Grips are very good, intact, with sharp checkering, there is a small abrasion on the right grip.
