SUESS TULIP SHADE ON WHALEY BASE.

Leaded table lamp has Suess shade with multicolored tulips surrounding the shade with striated green, blue and brown glass leaves and stems. The colorful floral band is set against a white geometric background. Shade is finished with an amber glass geometric border at bottom. Shade rests on a Whaley base with cast metal foot and stem with acanthus leaf decoration. Lamp has a three-socket cluster and openwork cast cap. Base is finished with a dark brown patina. Base is unsigned. Photograph of a similar base is pictured in the book Mosaic Shades Volume II by Paul Crist, pg. 93. SIZE: Shade is 20″ dia. Lamp is 24-1/2″ t.
