RARE 5-CENT/25-CENT MILLS DOUBLE DEWEY SLOT MACHINE.

From an eclectic collector, this machine has been buried away for 30+ years in a west coast home. Single uprights themselves are quite impressive, but doubles have a real “Wow factor”. Starting with a good solid original machine, the wooden cabinet has been restored and mellowed to a really nice finish. The iron castings, plated decades ago have a beautiful patina to the black oxidized finish. The tin color wheels within are original and are overall in very good plus condition. And even the reverse glass windows, although replicas, have aged nicely and almost give the appearance of being original. Both mechanisms are functional, the nickel needing a few minor adjustments and the quarter also needing a few minor adjustments including the leather payout strap that needs to be reattached to the payout wheel. This is not a big deal, just needing a little fine tuning and lubrication should resolve the issues. The iron castings are original for the most part except the two front head plates, which are older iron replicas. A couple of internal, but not visible repairs have been made to coin head castings. A great machine and virtually ready to move into your home, gameroom or office. SIZE: 51″ w x 18″ d x 66″ h.
