MIR SAROUK OR SERABAND ORIENTAL CARPET, CENTRAL PERSIA.

Second quarter 20th century. the carpet woven with rows of floral botehs on a muted terracotta ground within multiple crenelated and floral trellis work guard borders centering a main border of scrolling floral vinery. Probably chemically treated, now with a muted palette with blue/black borders and design trim. SIZE: 10′ 3″ x 16′.
