FINE GROUPING OF CIVIL WAR REUNION PHOTOS AND MEMORABILIA.

1) 1902 Montgomery, Alabama reunion of the 15th Alabama infantry. Group shot of about 50 veterans with battle flag in background. 8″ x 10″ gelatin. 2) 9-1/2″ x 6-1/2″ gelatin mounted on larger board, of the 3rd Iowa Calvary, Fairfield, Iowa 1891. 16 veterans are seen seated wearing their reunion ribbons. Also accompanying this group are 4 GAR badges and 8 multicolor patriotic calling cards, with vignettes of Civil War personalities. Also included is an Ohio veterans medal named to Jn. M. Shultz Co., K first Ohio Cav. SIZE: As above. PROVENANCE: Greene Museum of Southern History. CONDITION: Photographs both show fair contrast, soiling, foxing on mounting boards. Iowa photograph board is chipped heavily at top two corners not affecting image. Ribbon on 1909 Anderson, Indiana badge is frayed and torn, other badges very good to fine. 9-28001-2 (600-800) – Lot 2198
