WATLING 25 CENT ROL-A-TOP BIRD OF PARADISE SLOT MACHINE.

Perhaps one of the most visually attractive of all the Rol-a-Tops with the cornucopia cascading a bevy of different fruits and vegetables with the bird of paradise at the bottom of the horn of plenty. This was a most popular and heavily used machine in France in the 1930s-40s as was this machine. This particular unit features gold award, a vendor front, as well as skill stop option. Machine is in good, operational condition, but is in need of some minor lubrication. And as was typical, when the French utilized these machines, the coin Rol-a-top section has been disengaged and a straight coin drop detection system has been utilized. An older restoration to both the castings and the wood. Nice clean mechanism and still retaining its original Watling cash box. SIZE: 15″ w 15″ d x 26″ h.
