COLUMBUS MODEL 36 ONE CENT GUM MACHINE.

A great all-original diminutive gum machine. It is hard to believe that this machine did not often disappear from the locations in which they were utilized. This tiny machine has large visual attraction, and could literally fit in someone’s coat pocket. Enameled in dark red with a plethora of gilt pinstriping and highlighting, the mechanism was a simplistic beyond belief. A coin is dropped in and the black lever on the side is pushed in, dispensing a single tab of gum. Machine is in great original condition and a light cleaning/polishing would make the overall appearance pop. This machine appeals to collectors of both iron machines and cast iron toys as well.
