RIVIERE VINE TABLE LAMP.

Riviere leaded shade has nine cast bronze vines extending from the fitter ring creating an openwork top. The vines descend down the side of the shade and are surrounded by striated green glass leaves against an amber glass ground. Shade rests on a large Riviere bronze base with applied grape leaves and grape clusters around the foot with applied bronze wire tendrils climbing the stem with grape clusters attached. Base is finished with a three-light cluster and flame finial. Base and shade are unsigned. A similar base is pictured in the book Mosaic Shades Volume II by Paul Crist, pg. 156.
