CAILLE BUSY BEE TRADE STIMULATOR.

A great cast iron machine circa 1900/1910 time period in original nickel plated finish. This classic trade stimulator is fresh out of the attic consigned by a young lady from New York State. The player could deposit 1 up to 5 nickels turn the wheel on the side and the color wheel would spin about. Rewards would be paid to the winner anywhere from 2 to 10 nickles in trade. Machine is complete & intact other than the missing lock for the back door. Elaborate iron castings and the tin colored dial adorned with bees and mounted onto a 4-footed cast iron swivel base makes this a most visually attractive coin-op machine. Mechanism appears complete but in need of some minor repair for proper play. Just a nice fresh all original machine! SIZE: Approx 15″ t. PROVENANCE: The consignor would often go to the cigar store with her grandfather where she remembers seeing this machine. When the store closed, her grandfather bought the machine and it always reminded her of him. She decided to call Julia’s when she saw Department Head Andrew Truman on a recent episode of Antiques Roadshow. CONDITION: Overall condition very nice original nickel plated finish in need of a good cleaning from years of shelf dust and dirt. 49010-1 (8,000-12,000) – Lot 2191
