SN 25724. Cal. 12 ga. 2-3/4″ Chambers. 28″ Mono-bloc bbls with ventilated side ribs and matted, ventilated top rib, are fitted with interchangeable choke tubes. Gamba name and address is on left side of top bbl. Importers name and address (Firing Line) is on right. Gold wire inlay is at breech end. Mono-bloc is stamped with Italian nitro proofs for 2-3/4″ chambers. Coin finished low profile OU action is fitted with removable trigger/ firing group, with engine turned internals, single selective trigger, and non-automatic safety. Action is engraved in well cut large open shaded scroll, inspired by Holland & Holland’s “Royal” pattern. “RENATO GAMBA” is in arched device on each lockplate. Bottom of action is engraved “RENATO GAMBA” “DAYTONA S.L.” “ROYAL”. Nicely marbled flesh-toned European walnut extreme pistol grip buttstock measures 15″ over black Decelerator pad, and features right hand palm swell, and well cut point pattern checkering at grip. Matching slim schnabeled one piece forend has Deeley type release. Drop at heel: 2-9/16″, drop at comb: 1-9/16″. Weight: 8 lbs 3 oz. LOP: 15″. CONDITION: Excellent. Bbls retain over 95% orig blue. Action retains nearly all of its coin finish. Stocks have a few light marks in their orig finish, which is thinned a bit on sharp edges, checkering lightly worn and soiled.
