STELZ STUDIO LILY POND PLAQUE.

Stelz plaque is a ceramic tile which has been painted with glass powders to create the lily pond scene. The plaque is then fired to create a glass painting on the tile. The plaque is signed in the lower right hand corner “S Stelz”. It is housed in a contemporary Arts and Crafts frame in tiger oak. The plaque is marked on the back side “Stelz Studios” along with a double S within a circle logo. The back of the frame is stamped “Hand Crafted by Jim McDermot”. SIZE: Tile: 9″ x 15-3/4″. Frame: 15-1/8″ at widest x 21″ t. CONDITION: Very good to excellent with crazing to backside of tile. 5-69356 (2,000-3,000) – Lot 2173
