1) “Washington at Home” after a painting by Alonzo Chappel engraved by H.B. Hall 1987; 2) “Washington’s Last Interview with his Mother” after a painting by W.H. Powell, engraved by Henry Cousins 1864; 3) “Washington Crossing the Delaware” after a painting by E. Leutze, engraved by Paul Girardet; 4) Untitled with facsimile signature, shows 3/4 portrait of Washington, dated 1897, published by W.M. Power; 5) Untitled, with facsimile signature below oval portrait, pen signed illegibly bottom right. SIZE: 1) 32″ x 24″; 2) 30″ x 24-1/4″; 3) 20″ x 29″; 4) 37-1/2″ x 27-1/4″ 5) 40″ x 28-1/4″. CONDITION: All shrink wrapped to foam core. 1) Several tears, losses to margin, image is clean; 2) age toning throughout, foxing and water stains; 3) dark age toning throughout image and part of margin; 4) a few tears at margin edge, image very good; 5) few tears, roughness at margin edge, image very good. 9-25027 (500-1,000) – Lot 2169
