An exceptional French bebe with fabulous pale bisque, huge blue paperweight eyes, and mauve shadowing above. Visually this young lady has a pleasant look and a delicate smile upon her face. Perhaps the most interesting features of large Steiners like this are the lifelike and well-defined ears with highlighting to the edges. Early Steiner bebes in the Figure C or the Series A are perhaps the most appealing and intrinsically desirable. She is on the proper straight wristed composition Steiner body with very fine original finish except lower arms, which appear to have some aged repaint upon close examination. She is dressed in antique clothing and undergarments and an exceptional long tailed blond mohair wig. Her bonnet is also antique and completes the package. What a stunning French bebe. SIZE: 28″.
