SHERATON INLAID MAHOGANY PEMBROKE TABLE.

Second quarter 19th century, Massachusetts North Shore or Southern New Hampshire. The rectangular mahogany top with hinged D-form leaves above the conforming frieze fitted with opposing walnut drawers each with flaming birch panels within ebony string-inlaid borders. The frieze with satinwood line inlay raised on ring-turned, swelled reeded legs with ringed cuffs continuing to tapered feet. SIZE: 29″ h x 36″ l x 22″ w. 36″ x 41-1/2″ open. CONDITION: Structurally good, the table refinished and re-polished. Each drawer with period oval brass handle not original to table. No restoration noted. 51322-7 (600-900) – Lot 2158
