SN 35565. (1969) Cal. 12 ga. 2-3/4″ Chambers. 28″ Mono-bloc bbls are fitted with raised, matted, ventilated rib with Beretta name and address along with “Made in Italy” on top right side of mono-bloc, with importers name and address (Garcia Sporting) on rear of bbls. Left side is marked “BOHLER ANTINIT STEEL” with gauge and bbl information, and chokes “full” and “mod”. Briley thin wall choke tubes have been installed. Bottom of mono-bloc is stamped with 1969 Italian nitro proofs, grade, and SN. Classic Beretta OU action with dual locking lugs features hand detachable sidelocks, gold-plated single selective trigger, and breechface gas vents. Action is engraved with full coverage large, open, shaded acanthus scroll with rose bouquet and other floral highlights. Bottom of action is engraved “Brevettato Italy” and with Beretta name and address. Engravers signature “Zoli” is on trigger plate. Blued top lever with floral pierced thumbpiece is gold inlaid with a crown. Blued trigger guard with more floral engraving has SN at grip. Nicely marbled European walnut capped pistol grip buttstock measures 14-3/8″ over russet leather covered pad. Point pattern borderless checkering is at grip, which is finished in a plain hard rubber cap. Matching slim forend has Deeley type release. Bore diameter: top -.728, bottom -.728. Bore restrictions: screw chokes. Wall thickness: top -.032, bottom -.036. Drop at heel: 2-1/8″, drop at comb: 1-1/4″. Weight: 7 lbs 13 oz. LOP: 14-3/8”. CONDITION: Excellent. Bbls retain nearly all of what appears to be their orig blue, with only a few scattered light marks. Action retains nearly all of its bright coin finish with no obvious areas of darkening. Top lever, forend iron, and trigger guard retain essentially all of their orig blue with a couple of very light marks on trigger guard bow. Stocks retain nearly all of their glossy varnish finish with some light checking and marks. Pad is relatively new. Bores are excellent. Action is tight. Ejectors are in time.
