1) 15th or 16th century. Probably German. Featuring a repoussed image of the Annunciation, the Virgin Mary being visited by an Angel. The central image surrounded by text, having a raised flattened edge with chased decoration, the basin edge of hammered brass around an iron wire. 2) Circa 16th or 17th century. Probably German. Featuring a central image of urns and scrolls surrounded by text, having a raised and flattened edge with a chased decoration. Basin edge hammered brass around an iron wire. SIZE: 1) 15″ dia. 2) 17″ dia. CONDITION: 1) Edge roughness with splits and losses, image very good. 2) Very good with minor denting and wear commensurate with age. 9-96450 (300-500) – Lot 2154
