Black Forest tantalus has carved walnut case with birds, oak leaves and acorns decorating the top and front with carved medallions surrounded by oak leaves on each side with dog’s heads in the middle of each medallion. The case opens to reveal four cut glass decanters and 16 cut glass cordials. SIZE: Box: 13-1/2″ w x 9-1/4″ d x 14″ t to top of carving. CONDITION: Very good with some wear to finish on case. Birds on top of the box are missing parts of their tails, one bird missing a wing and tip of the other wing. 5-69374 (2,500-3,000) – Lot 2154
