Second half 19th century, New England. This large unmarked jug whimsically decorated depicting a goose hanging from a scale, inscribed “15 LB”. The jug with applied handle. SIZE: 15″ t x 9-1/2″ dia. CONDITION: Very good overall, with some surface soiling, several dark spots are removable, handle intact, light flecks on exterior edge of spout.
