BACCARAT SNAKE VASE .

Baccarat vase is done in opalescent glass. Foot is pressed in the shape of rocky ground and an applied glass snake coils around the cylindrical neck which is impressed with bamboo shoots and a large insect near the lip. The insect and snake are enameled while the bamboo shoots are highlighted with gilding. Vase rests in the original circular brass frame depicting bamboo with four brass ball feet. Signed on the underside in raised block letters “Baccarat”. SIZE: 8-3/4″ t. CONDITION: Some minor roughness to inside of lip and a 1/2″ long grind mark on outside of lip, otherwise very good. 5-69477 (3,000-4,000) – Lot 2153
