OVAL PANTRY BOX IN ORIGINAL RED/BROWN PAINT MARKED “WINCHESTER, VA”.

Winchester, VA marked on center of lid & on side. The overall paint is original and in a reddish/brown with darker cover edge. NOTE: Winchester Va is located in the Shenandoah Valley & during the Civil War was the most contested town in the Confederacy.It was a major railroad intersection & had four large battles in & around the town and changed occupiers over seventy (70) times.The Town is presently loved in the South the way Monhegan Island is loved in New England. Winchester was largely destroyed in the Civil War & many Union soldiers took personal property from Winchester as mementos SIZE: 7″ h x 13″ x 9-1/2″.
