Lot includes: 1) Desirable large building bank by Judd H.L. shows figure inside of dome. As crank is turned, he drops coin; 2) Another Judd H.L. mechanical figural bank showing peg-legged beggar with open hat. Drop coin and he nods head; 3 & 4) Two CI Tammany banks shows shady politician dropping coin into vest; 5 & 6) Two identical “Safe” banks marked “1896”; and 7) a Columbia Exposition domed building bank with combination lock on underside, dated “1892”. SIZE: Tallest is 9″ t. CONDITION: 1) Near excellent and working with jappaned finish; 2) Working with moderate paint wear; 3 & 4) one Tammany bank with detached swing arm, paint is fair to good; 5 & 6) Good with no breaks, chips or cracks; 7) Averages good and complete. 48820-22 (600-800) – Lot 2142
