WILKINSON ROSE TABLE LAMP.

Wilkinson leaded table lamp has rich red roses encircling the shade with green leaves, all set against a pastel yellow geometric background. The irregular border is made up of deep blue and green rippled glass and the top star border is made of the same blue and green rippled glass. Shade rests on an original Wilkinson base with brown patina, three-socket cluster and original Wilkinson locking heat cap. Unsigned. A similar example can be found in the book “Mosaic Shades, Volume II” by Paul Crist, p. 258. SIZE: Shade is 23″ dia. Lamp is 30″ t. CONDITION: Shade is very good with some minor corrosion to leading and a few tight hairlines. Base is very good to excellent, rewired with contemporary plastic cord. 5-68855 (6,500-8,500) – Lot 2139
