PAIR OF MARY GREGORY VASES.Pair of vases have an internally decorated bodies with blue modeling within the clear glass vase. Each vase is decorated with a Mary Gregory winter scene. One scene has a boy and girl ice skating on a pond with a clock tower in the background. The other vase has a scene with three young boys having a snowball fight on a frozen pond. Back of each vase is decorated with snow covered ground, barren trees and birds in flight. Each vase has applied gilded glass handles and matching stoppers with gilded acorn finials. Unsigned. SIZE: 13-1/4″ t to top of finial. PROVENANCE: Tom Dimitroff Collection. CONDITION: Tiny flea bite to bottom edge of one vase. There is minor flaking to the white enamel at the bottom edges of each vase and considerable wear to gilding on handles, finials, and necks. One lid has been ground near the bottom probably for proper fit at the factory, otherwise very good. 5-69438 (800-1,200) – Lot 2131
