Late 19th century, New England. Painted eight drawer chest, poplar and ash. Well proportioned form with shaped and pierced back, the case of drawers fitted with original ball form wooden knobs, set on overhanging base. Dry crusty yellow paint with nice patina, over original blue, the knobs in old gray. SIZE: 10″ x 4-1/2″ x 15″ h. CONDITION: Very good, untouched condition, minor age appropriate abrasions and crazed paint. 9-96381 (700-900) – Lot 2129
