20th century. 1) A fine poplar splint sewing basket with hinged lid, lined with lavender velvet and trimmed with pink bows, marked on bottom, “Shaker Goods, Alfred, Maine”. With tag inside “James to Margaret, 1928”. 2) A treen miniature barrel with woven cane work, with various colors, having “porcupine” style decoration. 3) A treen miniature barrel bank with woven cane work, with various colors, having “porcupine” style decoration. 4) An octagonal straw work basket, with lid. 5) Long needle pine and straw coil work basket with cover. 6) Split bamboo woven basket with cover. SIZE: 1) 3-1/2″ x 3″ x 1-3/4″. 2) 3-1/4″ t. 3″ dia. 3) 3″ t. 2-3/4″ dia. 4) 5-1/2″ x 5-1/2″ x 2-1/2″. 5) 3-1/2″ t. 3-3/4″ dia. 6) 3-1/2″ x 2-1/2″ x 2-1/2″.
