Please note: The chest has three replaced legs. FINE FEDERAL TIGER MAPLE AND CHERRY CHEST OF DRAWERS.Circa 1810, Vermont. The rectangular top with birdseye maple cross panel above the conforming case with a frieze inlaid figural maple panels over 4 graduated long drawers each with birdseye panels within shaped mahogany crossbanded borders and diamond and mahogany shield form escutcheons above a shaped apron with centrel pendant raised on slender tapering French feet with spurred returns. Note: a similar chest of drawers sold at Skinner Inc., lot #26 April 14, 2011. SIZE: 37-1/2″ h. x 44-3/4″ w. x 20″ d. CONDITION: Surface with fine professional re-polishing and with good honey brown color and patina, chest retains original hardware and feet, overall very good. 9-96541 (8,000-12,000) – Lot 2107
