These nice benchmade examples each with hinged lids above the conforming frieze with contrasting string inlaid borders raised on tapered square legs with bellflower inlays and crossbanded cuffs. SIZE: 29-1/2″ h x 36″ w x 18″ d. PROVENANCE: Original contents from the estate of Louise Alida Livingston, Oyster Bay, L.I., N.Y. Removed from the family home, Greenport L. I., N.Y.
