SN 325MV04451/ 325MVO4452. Cal. 12 Ga. 3” Chambers. These traditionally finished guns have 30″ bbls marked for mod and Imod. Bbls have narrow, raised, matted, ventilated ribs fitted with single silver beads, and are marked with Browning Morgan Utah and Montreal addresses, as well as “MADE IN BELGIUM BY BROWNING S.A.” on left sides which are also marked with importers name and address. Right side is marked with model and chamber info. Rear portions of ribs are gold inlaid with “I” and “II”. These numerals also appear on top levers. Unusual, color hardened, slightly rounded, Browning OU actions with blued sgl selective triggers, are engraved with simple geometric borders framing patches of large shaded scroll. Well matched, oil finished, nicely streaked and lightly figured European walnut long tang round knob buttstocks measure 14-3/8” over russet leather covered pads, with thin tapered spacers. Point pattern checkering with line borders is at grips. Matching forends are of slim field type. Set “I”: Drop at heel: 2-1/8″, drop at comb: 1-3/8″. Weight: 7 lbs 7 oz. LOP: 14-3/8″. Set “II”: Drop at heel: 2-1/8″, drop at comb: 1-3/8″. Weight: 7 lbs 6 oz. LOP: 14-3/8″. Each gun comes in its orig black and red box with correct end labels.
