PORTSMOUTH BOW FRONT FEDERAL INLAID MAHOGANY CHEST OF DRAWERS.

1st quarter 19th century. Portsmouth, New Hampshire, mahogany case with bowed top having string inlaid front, the drawer fronts cockbeaded with 3 banded inlaid panels, the center with figured satinwood oval panel, ends with rectangular satinwood panel, all banded with satinwood and ebony. The base with outward curving French feet and scalloped apron. Fitted with oval brass hardware. SIZE: 40-1/2″ x 23-1/2″ x 38-1/2″ h.
