*SCARCE AND DESIRABLE .410 BROWNING PIGEON GRADE SUPERLIGHT SUPERPOSED WITH ORIGINAL BOX.

SN 204J75. Cal. .410. 3″ Chambers. 26-3/8″ Bbls with narrow, ventilated rib are marked for mod and full chokes. Browning Arms Co. Morgan Utah and Montreal addresses, along with “MADE IN BELGIUM” are on left side of top bbl, and “BROWNING SUPERPOSED” along with steel and gauge information are on right. Special “Superlight” action with rounded bottom is engraved in typical “Pigeon” style with pairs of pigeons flying through a field of large simple scroll on each side. Bottom of action is engraved with more scroll and a large central floral bouquet. Fences are well carved with oak leaf and acorn motif. Trigger guard is also scroll engraved on bow, and has number “294” at grip. Nicely crotch figured American walnut straight grip buttstock measures 14-3/8″ over composition Browning buttplate. Standard point pattern checkering is at grip. One piece “Superlight” style schnabeled forend matches well. Bore diameter at muzzles: top -.380, bottom -.394. Drop at heel: 2-3/16″, drop at comb: 1-3/8″. Weight: 6 lbs 8 oz. LOP: 14-3/8″. Black and gold Browning box has correct end label serial numbered to this gun. CONDITION: Essentially, as new, with only faint handling marks on wood, and a few assembly marks from contact with forend, on bottom bbl.
