FINE GROUP OF SIX DIFFERENT 19TH CENTURY AMERICAN FLAGS ALL WITH MATCHING FRAMES.

All flags in this group are printed and all are in fine condition with great aesthetics. 1) 44-star “Drum” design canton with star configurations 6-8-8-8-8-6. This flag commemorates the state of Wyoming and was official 1891-96. 2) 46-star “Drum” design canton with star configurations 7-8-8-8-8-7. This flag commemorates the state of Oklahoma and was official starting in 1908. 3) 45-star staggered pattern commemorating the state of Utah which was official 1896-1908. 4) The earliest flag is a 39-star commemorating North Dakota in 1889. The canton is in a wave pattern of columns 7-6-7-6-7-6. Two different sized stars along with column height make this flag look like it’s waving in the breeze. 5) 42-star flag commemorating state of Washington 1889-1890. The canton is an unusual staggered pattern of 6 rows of 7 stars. 6) 46-star flag commemorating state of Oklahoma and was official 1908-1912 and measures. SIZE: Flags: 1) 20″ x 13″. 2) 14-3/4″ x 19-1/2″. 3) 17-1/4″ x 26-1/2″. 4) 17-1/2″ x 33-1/2″. 5) 18″ x 34-1/2″. 6). about 24″ x 35″. Frames: 1 & 2) 20″ x 26″. 3) 24″ x 30″. 4, 5 & 6) 25-1/2″ x 38″. PROVENANCE: The Timothy Gallagher Collection. CONDITION: Overall all flags are fine. The 39 star flag has light staining and light yellowing with iron rust from nail holes where it was attached at hoist.
