RARE WEDGWOOD FAIRYLAND LUSTRE BOWL.

Wonderful Fairyland Lustre Imperial bowl has Flight of Birds pattern encircling the bottom of the bowl with a mottled green medallion on the bottom with gilded flowers. Inside rim is decorated with a band of multicolored bubbles. Exterior of the bowl is decorated with a band of white Flight of Birds pattern with gilded detail. Birds are flying against a shaded background of green, red and yellow giving the feel of an evening sunset all against a mottled blue glaze. Signed on the underside with gold Portland vase mark “Wedgwood England Z5088”. SIZE: 8-3/4″ dia. CONDITION: Very good to excellent with some minor wear to gilding and some minor scratches to the bottom of the bowl. 5-69827 (4,000-5,000) – Lot 2083
