ANTIQUE WINCHESTER MODEL 1894 SADDLE RING CARBINE WITH MARBLE IVORY BEAD FRONT SIGHT.

SN 44124. Cal. 30 W.C.F. 20″ rnd bbl. Full magazine. Marble ivory bead front sight. Carbine rear sight. Saddle ring attached. Blue finish. Straight grain American walnut stocks with carbine buttplate. Bbl and receiver both show WP proofs which indicates a return to factory. CONDITION: Fine. Bbl and magazine tube retain 90% blue finish that is turning somewhat dull with very few handling marks. Bbl bands are deep plum brown patina with traces of blue. Sights are very good. Bbl marks are sharp and clear. Bore is bright with sharp rifling. Receiver retains 70% blue with most of the wear at the carry point. Saddle ring shadow is present. Bolt is a gray brown patina. Loading gate shows traces of fire blue. Lever and hammer are both a silver gray patina. Stocks are fine, full size, and retain nearly all of the varnish finish with minuscule handling marks overall. Buttplate retains 20% blue with wear at the heel and toe. Buttstock has a hole plugged at the toe.
