HOLLOW BODY COPPER HORSE WEATHERVANE, HARRIS & SON CO.Late 19th century. Boston, Massachusetts. Stamped “J. HARRIS & SON”, on the proper right side of weathervane. This fine example of a cantering horse with good verdigris surface and 3 filled bullet holes with full body mane and tail, now offered with a museum stand. SIZE: 22″ h. 32″ l. CONDITION: Surfaces appear untouched and original, slight seam separation at top of tail, front seam of head and proper left foreleg, otherwise very good. 9-97173 (5,000-7,000) – Lot 2055
