WINCHESTER MODEL 1886 SADDLE RING CARBINE.

SN 98236. Cal. .45-70. 22″ bbl with full mag, saddle ring attached, blue and case color finish, straight grained American stocks with carbine butt. CONDITION: Very good. Bbl appears to be a replacement and shows a non-orig cal mark at the breech end. Bead front sight and carbine rear sight are good. Bbl and mag tube show a silver/gray patina overall with traces of blue in protected areas, breech of bbl has been cleaned and touched-up around rear sight and cal mark. Receiver is a silver/gray patina overall with slight traces of case color in protected areas. Bolt retains 80% blue finish. Loading gate shows traces of fire blue. Hammer and lever are silver/gray patina with traces of case color in protected areas. Tang markings are sharp and clear. Stocks are very good, full size and show minor handling marks and dents overall. Buttplate is silver/gray patina with a hint of case color. Bbl band is a sliver/gray patina.
