Late 18th century, New England. Very rare miniature canted stepback cupboard, poplar. Original Spanish brown paint. Great form, good proportions, the open shelves of canted form with overhanging top, above Cupid’s bow cutout sides and footed front base. Brass pin hinged door and original brass knob, latch absent.
