Late 18th Century, American. Oversize painted walnut Tazza having original black paint. The platter interior with dark, natural “scrubbed” patina. Carved from a single piece. The double rimmed dish top, flared incised outer body above a flared, incised, cylindrical stem with flared base (indented beneath). SIZE: 17″ dia. 9″ t.
