*BROWNING SUPERPOSED P 2 GRADE WITH GOLD INLAY TWO BARREL SET WITH SMALL GAUGE TUBES AND CASE.

SN P54RR1200. Cal. 12 ga. 28″ Bbls marked for mod and full (top bbl fitted with interchangeable chokes) have 2-3/4” chambers. 30″ Bbls with 3″ chambers are marked for mod and full. Both sets of bbls have narrow, matted ventilated ribs with silver beads. They are marked with Browning Morgan Utah and Montreal addresses, and “MADE IN BELGIUM” on left, and “BROWNING SUPERPOSED”, steel and chamber info on right. Blued rounded Browning OU action with gold-plated sgl selective trigger, is engraved with near full coverage of well cut, large, open, shaded scroll with acanthus highlights surrounding well detailed scenes of game birds with semi-relief gold inlaid subjects; three pheasant fly through woodland on left, and a trio of ducks rise from marsh on right. A pair of quail fly across bottom of action. Trigger guard has matching scroll. No engravers signature found. Exceptional, oil finished, burl figured European walnut long tang flat knob buttstock measures 14-3/8” over Browning open sided pad. Modified point pattern checkering wraps over top of grip. Matching forends are of long field type. 28″ BBL set: Bore diameter: top -.724, bottom -.724. Bore restrictions: top: screw chokes, bottom: .005 (IC). Drop at heel: 2-9/16″, drop at comb: 1-1/2″. Weight: 7 lbs 2 oz. LOP: 14-3/8″. 30″ BBL set: Bore diameter: top -.724, bottom -.722. Bore restrictions: top: .021 (mod), bottom: .009 (IC). Drop at heel: 2-9/16″, drop at comb: 1-1/2″. Weight: 7 lbs 4 oz. LOP: 14-3/8″. Included are seven small gauge tubes (3 gauge set for 28″ bbls, and a single 20 ga. tube for bottom bbl of 30″ set) All three 20 ga. tubes are threaded for interchangeable chokes, of which six are included. Gun with both sets of bbls and all tubes, fit into black ABS case with gray cloth interior. PROVENANCE: Rod Fuller Estate Collection. CONDITION: Excellent, with evidence of relatively light use, with high edge wear to blued parts. Tang of trigger guard and thumbpiece are somewhat silvered. Stocks have some light marks.
