WINCHESTER SECOND MODEL 1876 SEMI-DELUXE RIFLE.

SN 20859. Cal. .45-60. 28″ oct bbl with full mag, Beech’s combination front sight, 1876 ladder rear sight, receiver is of the second type with dust cover rail attached by a screw, blue finish, nicely figured American walnut stocks with plain pistol grip and crescent butt. CONDITION: Very good. Bbl and mag tube show a plum/brown patina overall, markings are sharp and clear. Sights are very good. Bore is frosty with visible rifling. Receiver is a smooth gray/brown patina overall. Elevator is a mustard/brown patina with clear marks. Tang markings are sharp and clear. Hammer and lever are also a smooth gray/brown patina. Stocks are very good, have been cleaned and are slightly undersized with a fresh coat of varnish. Buttplate and forend cap also a smooth gray/brown patina.
