WINCHESTER THIRD MODEL 1873 SADDLE RING CARBINE.

SN 413704B. Cal. .44 WCF. 20″ bbl, full mag, blue finish, saddle ring attached, straight grained American walnut stocks with carbine butt. CONDITION: Very good. Bbl and mag tube are a gray/brown patina overall with some wear marks and scratches, markings are clear, standard carbine sights. Bore is dark with visible rifling. Receiver is also gray/brown patina with slight traces of blue in protected areas. Left side of receiver shows a saddle ring shadow. Elevator is a mustard/yellow patina, cal marking is slightly worn. Tang markings are sharp and clear. Stocks are very good and full sized with scratches and dents overall and a small gouge on right side of buttplate tang. Buttplate and bbl band are also a gray/brown patina. A nice example of a ’73 carbine in a popular cal. 51138-17 TEP (1,500-2,500) – Lot 2026
