*EARLY 20 GAUGE BROWNING PIGEON GRADE SUPERPOSED TWO BARREL SET WITH CASE.

SN 19894. Cal. 20 ga. 3″ Chambers. 28″ Bbls (S1) are marked for full and full, and 26-3/8″ bbls (S2) are marked for IC and mod. Both have matted, ventilated ribs and Browning St. Louis and Montreal addresses. Coin finished action is engraved in usual “Pigeon” style, with pairs of pigeons flying through light scroll background on sides, with rose bouquets on bottom. Top of action is relief carved with well cut oak leaves and acorns. Trigger guard is scroll engraved. Lightly figured and streaked French walnut long tang round knob buttstock measures 14-1/8″ over Browning open sided white line pad, and features point pattern checkering with line borders at grip. Forends match well. “S1” BBLS: Bore diameter: top -.610, bottom -.607. Bore restrictions: top -.032 (full), bottom -.033 (full). Drop at heel: 2-1/4″, drop at comb: 1-1/2″. Weight: 6 lbs. 8 oz, LOP 14-1/8″. “S2” BBLS: Bore diameter: top -.608, bottom -.607. Bore restrictions: top -.016 (mod), bottom -.009 (IC). Drop at heel: 2-1/4″, drop at comb: 1-1/2″. Weight: 6 lbs. 6 oz, LOP 14-1/8″. Tan vinyl Browning case with space for action and both bbl sets, is lined in faux fleece. PROVENANCE: Rod Fuller Estate Collection. CONDITION: Excellent, retaining nearly all factory finishes on wood and metal, with a few light handling marks. Checkering is slightly darkened. Gold of trigger has some rubs on sides.
