GERMAN HEYDE MINIATURE LEAD CIRCUS SET.

A rare 19th century hand-painted miniature lead figure circus set comprising of approx 30 figures including Chinese acrobats, bareback riders, clowns, strongmen, ring master and more. Feature of circus set is a working windup flywheel toy that shows performing horse with jumping acrobat. Other pieces include ladders, tin circus performing ring and jump-through hoops. An intricate toy set with highly detailed hand-painting to miniature lead figures. SIZE: Varies. PROVENANCE: From the Laurence Hapgood Estate.
