ENGRAVED WINCHESTER THIRD MODEL 1873 DELUXE RIFLE IN RARE .22 LONG CALIBER.

SN 218484. Cal. .22 Long. 24″ oct bbl, full mag, stepped receiver, blue and case hardened finish, nicely figured checkered pistol grip stocks, with crescent buttplate. Non-factory engraving. CONDITION: Very good. Mechanics: elevator is sticking. Bbl and mag show a smooth plum/brown patina overall with traces of blue in protected areas. Bbl markings are clear. Knife blade front sight and sporting rear sight. Bore is dark with visible rifling. Receiver is a silver/gray patina overall with slight traces of case color showing. Engraving is nicely accomplished with a single hare on the left side and a pair or hares on the right side, scroll engraving with a punch-dot background is nicely accomplished on both sides of the receiver, behind hammer, at bbl breech and buttplate tang. Stocks are very good, full sized and show nice figure especially on the right side, checkering is nicely accomplished and is somewhat worn smooth with a few small dents, there is a small chip missing at the rear of bottom tang. Stocks have handling marks and scratches overall. Buttplate and forend cap are a smooth silver/gray patina.
