HESS DREADNOUGHT FLOTILLA SET W/ OB.

Of German manufacture, from the earlier part of the 20th century, the clockwork battleship is on patrol with its five gun boats assisting. The toy is in virtually near mint all original condition and the main ship still retains its original flag. The various wires and configuration are contained within an envelope which depicts the various configurations the child could have utilized. The box lid pictures the main ship with the smaller accompanying ships and overall the box is fairly intact, however missing two side panels to lid and a couple of tears here and there on main box. A classic & wonderful toy and rarely found in this condition let alone in its original box. SIZE: Box is approx 14″ x 9″. Dreadnought is 8″ l. Accompanying boats approx 5-1/4″.
