EARLY FRENCH HORSE DRAWN TIN FIRE EQUIPMENT WITH FIGURES.

Lot includes a horse drawn pumper, aerial ladder wagon, and hand drawn hose cart. Included with lot are eight fireman (one lacking oval tin base) and five smaller “flat lead” horse drawn fire vehicles, perhaps of German manufacture(?). The French pieces are quite intricate and delicate in nature with some minor reattaching and/or repairs needed. Overall pieces appear to be complete and intact(?). SIZE: Varies. 4-1/2″ to 9-1/2″ l. PROVENANCE: From the Laurence Hapgood Estate. CONDITION: Some overall flaking to tin French fire pieces, but good to very good.
