QUEEN ANNE “BIRDCAGE” TEA TABLE.Mid 18th century. Pennsylvania. Walnut tea table with carved and molded dish top, supported by a tilt and turn “birdcage” mechanism with boldly turned center column joined to cabriole legs and flattened pad feet. SIZE: Top 35-1/4″ x 35-3/4″. 29″ h. CONDITION: Very good, top with evidence of 4 fill holes for screws to solidly affix the top, base with re-glue to a chip on the top of the column and having an old refinish surface. 9-25083 (800-1,200) – Lot 2010
