RARE FIGURED MAPLE ADJUSTABLE KETTLE STAND.

Mid 18th Century New England. The small circular birdseye maple dish top with incised rim and tapered collar joined to the ring and reel turned standard joined to 3-turned leg supports raised on ring and reel turn legs, terminating in elongated button feet. The figured base with old, if not original threaded adjusting knob. SIZE: 26-1/4″ h. Top dia: 10″. Overall 13″ d. CONDITION: Telescopic post is old replacement, top with early glue repaired split.
