IRON REVOLVING CANDLE-STAND.

Mid 18th century, American. Fine iron revolving table candle stand, forged iron. Finely wrought, large penny feet, with tapering tripod, having ring and bobbin turned join square lower post, vase turned central decoration, round tapering upper post. The double revolving candle arms having central lozenge and elaborate elongated diamond shaped arms. With folded edge, and slotted candlecups and dished drip pans. The spring loaded arms with lower cage and attached pigtail ended snuffer holder. SIZE: 23″ t.
