WINCHESTER MODEL 1876 LEVER ACTION RIFLE. Cal. 45-60. Standard grade rifle with 22″ oct. bbl, full magazine, uncheckered wood with straight stock and crescent steel buttplate with trap. The bbl, apparently a cut-down, is fitted with a homemade front sight and fixed Kentucky style rear sight. Buttplate has been brass plated. SN 61210. CONDITION: As noted, about good, being mostly a blue-brown patina, missing the dust cover. Wood is sound and retains most of an old sanded refinish. Fair, dark bore. 4-46515 JR10 (800-1,500)
